TRIO Reading to Write: Foundational Skills in College Reading

This courseÌýoffers TRIOÌýstudents critical skillsÌýin reading and understandingÌýa range of texts in order to translateÌýthose readings into meaningful writing.ÌýWith an emphasis onÌýindividualized reading plans, we willÌýlearnÌýhow toÌýapply reading strategies and other effective practices to demystify academic writingÌýand help students navigate their readings forÌýother classes and programs.

The class involves participation in a weekly in-person class, as well asÌý2-4 hours of work outside of class each week.Ìý
