This class is the culmination of AVÌìÌÃ’s Woodworking Foundations Certificate Program.ÌýIt is reserved for students who have completed three previous Certificate offerings: Woodworking: Enclosures and Containers, Woodworking: Frames and Surfaces,Ìýand one Woodworking: Special Topics offering (qualified non-Certificate students may be admitted with prior faculty approval).ÌýThis course focuses onÌýstudent originatedÌýwork. StudentsÌýwill complete a summative final research and studio project in consultation with the Woodworking faculty, comprised of research and writing, studio work, work statements, and public presentations. They will be expected to work collaboratively with their peers to do their studio work and to make their final presentations to the community.ÌýThis is the final core course that must be taken after completion of all other core course work and electives which compriseÌýtheÌýWoodworking Foundations:ÌýCraft, Culture, & Sustainability Certificate.
